Becoming a Christian
Welcome! Whether you’ve stumbled upon this page by chance, or we’ve connected during one of my speaking engagements, in a personal conversation, or through something I’ve written, I’m glad you’re here. Thank you for taking the time to explore more about Christianity via this page.
If you’ve been exploring faith for some time, or if something in our interaction or on this website stirred a curiosity within you, I invite you to delve deeper.
Life can feel chaotic and broken because of our sin. But God, in His love, offers us forgiveness and a renewed purpose through His Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus died on the cross, bearing the penalty for our sins, and rose again to give us victory over death. My hope and prayer are that you would come to know Jesus as your Lord and Saviour and begin your journey with Him.
Following Jesus isn’t just a single decision—it’s a transformative journey that impacts every part of our lives. It’s about experiencing the profound love God has for each of us, discovering the purpose He has designed for us, and embracing a hope, peace, and joy that surpass all circumstances.

Praying to Receive Jesus
If you’re ready to become a follower of Jesus and make Him the Lord and Saviour of your life, you can begin by praying the prayer below. In this prayer, you are:
Admitting your need for forgiveness, acknowledging that you are a sinner.
Believing that Jesus Christ died for your sins on the cross and rose from the grave to bring you into a relationship with God.
Confessing that Jesus Christ is the only way to God and committing to live for Him from this day forward.
If you’re ready to take this step, speak this prayer out loud with sincerity and faith:
“Jesus, I acknowledge that I have done wrong things and that my sin has separated me from you. But I believe you died for my sins and rose from the dead. Today I ask for your forgiveness and thank you for your gift of new life. I receive you as my Lord and Saviour. I choose relationship with you and I choose to live for you. Please come into my heart and change my life, now and forevermore. Amen.”
